Radiology Subspecialty Expertise

Imaging modalities continue to increase in complexity, increasing the importance of subspecialty expertise and driving greater demand for radiologists with the relevant experience to ensure more accurate interpretations.

However, many hospitals and clinics simply don’t (and can’t) have specialty radiologists on staff when they need it — where they need it.

vRad’s experienced team of fellowship-trained radiologists can provide subspecialist coverage without the cost and challenges of a local hire. A majority of our new radiologists are subspecialty-trained radiologists with an average of 9 years post-certification experience.  Our subspecialists are experts in their field and dedicated to providing quality patient care.

Our breadth of expertise gives you the peace of mind that no matter what the situation, you’re prepared with a clinical resource immediately available to provide a preliminary or final report.  Our U.S.-trained physicians can provide superior clinical and practice benefits to help you make better decisions for the health of your patients.

Another positive feature is the subspecialty reading capabilities. From the terminology in reports, our neurosurgeons notice when an MRI of the brain or post-op CT is read by a neuroradiologist. That gives them confidence in after-hours radiology services, which also reflects positively on our group.
