Radiology Preliminary Reads

vRad’s 24/7/365 preliminary interpretation service provides a reliable, flexible and economical way to extend service levels and enhance patient care.

We customize coverage options to meet your specific needs — including evenings and weekends, daytime support, vacation coverage, or comprehensive e-locum services to fulfill staffing requirements.

vRad established its reputation partnering with clients for preliminary radiologic interpretations during nights, weekends and vacations. Today, vRad is a global telemedicine company and the nation’s leading radiology practice with nearly 500 physicians serving 2,100 hospitals, health systems and radiology group facilities.

Our average emergent turnaround time (TAT) is under 30 minutes — with stroke protocol studies at under 7 minutes and trauma protocol studies under 12 minutes.  Our commitment to speed and quality is critical to our partners, our patients and their families.

vRad’s preliminary reports are comprehensive and provided through our online Order Management System or pushed directly to a facility’s printer or fax machine within an average of 30 minutes of receipt of images and order. Complex cases are often addressed in telephone consultations between vRad radiologists and the referring physician.
