The Desktop Administrator will assist in the design, operation and maintenance of the office infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide end-user support and manage support calls

• Assessment of hardware and software needs for office functions, then define, assist with procuring, implement and support

Qualifications/Education:

We are currently looking for an Operations Support Representative.


The Operations Center at vRad provides world-class customer support to our clients by monitoring and facilitating the radiology workflow process (24/7) for hospitals, clinics and radiologists.  To effectively meet this need, the Operations Support Representatives provide constant monitoring of incoming orders and images to ensure that all relevant clinical information has been submitted, complete data order entry as needed proactively and identify and/or trouble-shoot non-technical issues.

We play a crucial role in assisting doctors and technicians when additional information is needed or conference calls are required. To properly support these activities, a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls will require professional, courteous and effective communication. Due to the nature of this business, multi-tasking, following procedure, extreme attention to detail, relationship management and a sense of urgency are required.

This is full-time, overnight position with rotating weekend shifts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor incoming orders and images to ensure that all necessary clinical information has been submitted (including image count verification)
  • Perform outbound calls requesting missing images, orders, worksheets or other information requested by doctors
  • Perform data entry of faxed orders
  • Verify hospitals requesting service are covered at the time of request
  • Answer inbound calls
  • Coordinate conference calls for doctors/RNs/rad techs
  • Identify and trouble-shoot issues (i.e. mismatched studies, etc.)
  • Provide documentation of all study activity
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

  • No education required
  • Two or more years of customer related experience in a contact center environment preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task

The Medical Administrative Specialist is responsible for all direct communication with the Medical Staff Offices (MSO) and Credentials Verification Organizations (CVO) that we work with to obtain privileges for our vRad physicians. Ownership of the overall process of Physician credentialing appointment and reappointment to the medical staff of vRad clients.

Qualifications/Education:

  • 2-3 years customer facing experience
  • Credentialing or Medical Staff Office experience preferred
  • Experience handling sensitive information and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience setting and managing client expectations
  • Ability to work in a fully electronic records system with minimal paperwork

  • Initiate and manage workflow and credentialing process for existing clients specific to their unique needs to obtain privileges per their bylaws and compliance requirements
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships between vRad and credentialing contacts at hospitals while managing client needs
  • Evaluate facility processes, determine opportunities for efficiencies and develop action plans
  • Proactive adjustments of rosters based on facility needs and radiologists schedule adjustments, capacity, etc.
  • Participate in the implementation of privileging processes and procedures
  • Sell, promote and advocate vRad’s credentialing services (Credentialing Agreements, vRad Portal, Electronic Signatures, etc.)
  • Maintain continuous communication with credentialing contacts, internal Physician Services team members, account services. radiologists and other internal clients
  • Determine targets and meet deadlines for privileges granted
  • Obtain emergent privileges when necessary following proper guidelines and processes

The Teleradiology Operations  Supervisor is responsible for the supervision and leadership of the production control team within the Operations Center (OC). The Teleradiology Operations Supervisor responsibilities include mentoring, coaching, and developing team members to ensure goals are achieved. The Teleradiology Operations Supervisor also assumes the responsibility of OC Supervisor in the absence of an Operations Support Supervisor (OSS) or an Operations Center Manager (OCM).

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train the production control specialist team to ensure best practices and assist in the strategic planning for future business
  • Ensure full training of team including creating and maintaining manuals, tools and resources
  • Assume the OC supervisory role in the absence of an OSS of OCM
  • Assignment of work to team, mentoring of team members and monitoring of progress
  • Evaluate and develop Production Control team programs and policies
  • Communicate to OC management on issues, trends, resolutions, status, ideas, etc.
  • Identify root cause and develops action plans to address opportunities
  • Maintain scheduling and ensuring staffing coverage of PCS team
  • Assist in the performance evaluation process for OSR and PCS team members
  • Perform PCS functions as necessary

Qualifications/Education:

  • Minimum of 5 years of operations related experience preferred

We are currently looking for a Medical Staff Coordinator.


Virtual Radiologic (vRad) is a Joint Commission accredited teleradiology practice with 450+ radiologists and serves 2,000+ facilities across the country. We are seeking to fill the position of a full time medical staff coordinator. This coordinator will be responsible for the administrative duties associated with credentialing, licensing and privileging our radiologists. The vRad medical staff team is a fast paced environment that prides itself on the completeness of our physician files, industry leading credentialing time frames, and our ability to have fun while we do it. We were most recently recognized for our credentialing process by winning the Award of Excellence through Innovation in 2016 from HealthStream.

Experience:

  • 1-2 years of administrative or related experience
  • Medical Staff Office or previous credentialing or medical licensing experience a plus

Duties:

  • Facilitate the timely review and approval of physician’s documentation for credentialing, re-credentialing, licensing or privileging
