WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A REGULATORY AFFAIRS MANAGER.

Remote with occasional in-person meetings. Local Twin Cities candidates preferred. 

Summary:

The Regulatory Affairs Manager is responsible for regulatory affairs relating to investigatory and cleared  SaMD at vRad, and supporting regulatory compliance in other areas on an as-needed basis. The Regulatory Affairs Manager is responsible for maintaining the vRad Quality Management System so as to remain in compliance with applicable laws and regulations; monitoring FDA guidance and other regulations, communicating how they impact vRad; assisting Software Engineering with compliance requirements; drafting or contributing to FDA submissions such as pre-submission requests, 510(k)s, and DeNovos, reports,  registrations, UDI maintenance and other activities applicable to medical device regulation, guidance, and standards in the United States

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain QMS to remain in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Hold regular meetings with appropriate team members as required by QMS, including executive management
  • Assist with building and maintain Design History Files for FDA SaMDs
  • Compile and file 510(k) pre-submissions, 510(k) submissions and De Novo submissions in consultation with legal counsel when needed
  • Perform quality checks on QMS and SaMD Design History Files
  • Work with vRad leadership, including Director of Software Engineering, CIO, CEO, and others to make critical decisions such as regulatory pathways and regulatory strategies
  • Assess device related incidents/complaints for medical device reporting requirements
  • Compile and submit reportable events to relevant regulatory bodies
  • Manage recalls and field actions, support CAPA completion
  • Review and create device labelling
  • Support internal and external regulatory audits
  • Support expansion into global medical device markets
  • Participate on Research Advisory Committee
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or country equivalent in Engineering or Science or related scientific discipline, or equivalent. Higher degree/PhD will be an advantage
  • Minimum 3-5 years regulatory or equivalent experience within a device or pharmaceutical company, clinical research organization, or similar organization
  • Science fluency must be able to digest complex data while keeping the big picture through good analytical skills; firm understanding of statistics is desirable
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to listen, articulate, synthesize and advocate
  • Proactive, high performance, result oriented and manage projects with ethical integrity
  • Technical system skills (e.g. MS office applications, databases, efficient online research).
  • Manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to identify compliance risks and escalate when necessary
  • Demonstrate both creative and critical thinking skills
  • Experience with eSTAR, SaMD, and eQMS a plus
  • Experience with cyber security frameworks and enterprise risk management concepts also a plus.

Job Classification:

The salary for this position is $115,000-$145,000. The range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range. Summary:

The Software Engineer Intern will aid in the design, development, testing and support of our database, server, web, and desktop software applications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop software within a team environment supporting a rapidly growing information technology intensive business
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business and user needs and translate into software systems specifications
  • Participate in estimating, planning, and scheduling software development tasks
  • Participate in the design of software systems, user interfaces, web APIs, processing algorithms, communications methods, and other major components
  • Develop software in C#, HTML, JavaScript, Python, and SQL using standard coding practices
  • Perform unit, integration, and system level software testing
  • Assist SQA with integration and system level software testing
  • Participate in code reviews
  • Other activities as directed by management

Qualifications/Education:

  • In pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science or a related field
  • Experience with one or more of the following is a plus:
  • Developing software using Agile methodologies
  • C# highly preferred (C++ or Java are acceptable)
  • HTML and JavaScript
  • SQL (Microsoft SQL or other relational databases)
  • Python
  • Desktop UI Libraries (WinForms preferred)
  • REST API framework (WebAPI preferred)
  • Mobile application development (.NET MAUI preferred)
  • MVC or MVVM
  • Unit and integration tests (NUnit preferred)

Summary:

The Data Science Intern aids in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of large datasets to support development of medical imaging machine learning models. This position functions as a project analyst that will collaborate with senior data scientists and engineers to set up data analysis studies, including anomaly detection, identification of algorithm accuracy, precision, recall, and other metrics.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Assist in the design and implementation of machine learning models and algorithms

· Perform data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploratory data analysis

· Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to visualize key metrics

· Design data experiments for validation of machine learning models

· Develop software for preprocessing medical images for usage in machine learning and artificial intelligence applications

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data

· Support the deployment and monitoring of machine learning models

· Assist SQA with integration and system level testing

· Participate in code reviews

· Other activities as directed by management

Qualifications/Education:

· Currently pursuing a degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field

· Some experience or very strong interest in machine learning

· Experience with two or more of the following is preferred: Python, R, C# highly preferred (C++ or Java are acceptable), SQL (Microsoft SQL or other relational databases)

· Understanding of machine learning concepts and techniques

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Summary:

The Software Quality Assurance Engineer Intern is responsible for working with engineering teams to ensure the high quality of vRad products. The main responsibility of this role is to execute testing efforts on software development projects. As an intern, you will be involved in manual testing, helping to ensure our solutions meet high standards. This is a great opportunity to learn the importance of SQA as a foundation while pursuing a career as a software or test engineer.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in software testing within a team environment
  • Plan, document, and execute software test cases
  • Identify, report, and track software issues
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues
  • Participate in team meetings and discussions
  • Develop and execute test plans for software releases
  • Support debugging and reproducing issues reported by users
  • Document test processes and results
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications/Education:

  • In pursuit of an undergraduate or graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Mathematics or a related field
  • Some experience or very strong interest in working as a Quality Assurance Tester or similar role
  • Basic understanding of software development and testing principles
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Good organizational skills with attention to detail
    • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
    • Self-motivated and capable of working independently on assigned tasks
