WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A PAYER ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST.

The Payer Enrollment Specialist is responsible for merging, completing and following up on provider applications with third-party payers. Strong attention to detail, balanced with the ability to produce a high output of applications, is essential to this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete a variety of third-party payer applications for vRad providers, including government and commercial
  • Understand and apply state regulations/entity information to applications, which includes non-application related requests and projects
  • Maintain current status notes in database/spreadsheets and ensure timely follow up on initial enrollment, recredentialing and expirables for providers/clients
  • Establish and maintain a strong professional rapport with providers, third party payers, clients and internal staff
  • Communicate enrollment updates and/or questions to our third-party billing vendors
  • Research and work through payer enrollment issues
  • Maintain database/spreadsheets of enrollment statuses
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

  • High School diploma
  • 1+ years of administrative experience
  • Strong organization and prioritizing skills
  • Ability to make sound decisions based on urgency, fact, guidelines, goals and regulations

The Software Engineer will aid in the design, development, testing and supporting of software applications both web and windows based and designing and developing relational databases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop software within a team environment supporting a rapidly growing information technology intensive business
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business and user needs and translate into software systems specifications
  • Participate in estimating, planning, and scheduling software development tasks
  • Participate in the design of software systems, user interfaces, web services, processing algorithms, communications methods, and other major components
  • Develop software in C#, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL using standard coding practices
  • Perform unit, integration, and system level software testing
  • Assist SQA with integration and system level software testing
  • Participate in code reviews

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 1-5 years of directly related experience

  • Experience with WebGL, OpenGL and/or image processing preferred
  • Experience with HTML and JavaScript preferred

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A PHYSICIAN RECRUITER.

The Physician Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, screening and hiring radiologists to meet the specialty and scheduling requirements as determined by operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Detailed review, consideration and response of all CVs submitted to vRad; require “best effort” for next business day response to all inquiries
  • Find, interview and hire radiologists meeting requirements specified by operations (specialty, location, licensing, start date)
  • Conduct pre-screen interviews and work with vRad radiologists to decide next steps for candidate
  • Conduct executive interviews and explain the entire workflow process, compensation and determine appropriate fit of candidates
  • Stay current on industry trends regarding vacation time, compensation and other negotiated terms in contracts
  • Coordinate, setup and conduct residency outreaches within territory
  • Prepare and oversee arrangement of on-site visit
  • Follow up with physician candidates on a regular basis throughout the engagement process until offer is accepted and contract is negotiated; will participate in contract negotiations along with on-site corporate counsel
  • Coordinate, manage and advise on placement of ads, hiring process, offer packages, compensation and on-site visits to facilitate the hiring process of radiologists
  • Attend tradeshows as required (typically 1-4 a year)
  • May participate in training of new staff, presentations to other departments or other presentations as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

  • Four plus years of solid executive level recruitment or sales experience
  • 4 year degree preferred
  • Strong project management analytical skills; must be extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proven track record to negotiate, persuade and close a candidate quickly
  • Ability to effectively handle high level escalations and time critical issues; meets goals despite unexpected setbacks, obstacles, or time constraints
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships over the phone and have the ability to drill down to the next levels
  • Discretion as to proprietary and confidential information
  • Capable of working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and have the ability to multi-task on a regular basis

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A SECURITY ENGINEER.

The Security Engineer is accountable for the vulnerability, threat and data/system risk technology programs supporting vRad’s business. We are looking for an individual to build upon existing efforts, enhance and mature the program in line with the expanding business. The Security Engineer is responsible for leading efforts focused on implementing and managing solutions scanning, analyzing and reporting (as well as involved in remediating) activities that pose a technical security and data risk to the company’s data, services and systems.  In addition, the Security Engineer will be responsible for the design, deployment, management, and monitoring of all aspects of vRad’s network in collaboration with MEDNAX’s enterprise team.  This includes circuits, network devices, voice systems, wireless, and all other aspects if information movement on vRad’s networks.

The role calls for an individual with good technical acumen, strong skills in planning, communication, and analysis as well as working experience.  This role is made for someone with a desire to be part of a fast-paced team shaping an effective technical IT security risk program both near and long term.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with enterprise team to build, manage and mature an effective technical data/IT risk management program
  • Collaborate with enterprise team to establish and communicate corporate security governance/assurance practices, implement an ongoing risk evaluation program as well as consistently lead the way in enhancing vRad’s capabilities to sustain IT integrity
  • Develop and maintain appropriate levels of environmental awareness at vRad, our radiology affiliates, and MEDNAX
  • Collaborate with enterprise and division leadership in managing security threat assessment presenting and aligning executive leadership providing feedback on at least a quarterly basis
  • Provide independent testing and auditing of security control effectiveness including policy compliance, intrusion detection, and selective spot sample testing of information security controls
  • Design, develop, and deploy network and security systems, components, and configurations in collaboration with the IT team
  • Provide operational and performance management of security and network components of vRad Technology Platform
  • Maintain industry and market awareness of security and network trends, product advancements, and standards
  • Maintain technical understanding of Information Security standards as it relates to HIPAA
  • Provide 24/7 Service Restoration support in the event of vRad Technology Platform outages or major issues
  • Participate in the development and implementation of disaster recovery procedures as they pertain to the network infrastructure
  • Maintain working knowledge of vRad’s business model and functionality of core Technology Platform components including vRad RIS, vRad PACS, and vRad Enterprise Connect
  • Engage across IT and the business to ensure an understanding of the importance of information security to protect vRad’s data and technology assets
  • Partner with compliance, privacy and legal teams
  • Stay abreast of and recommend new information security technologies as well as risk management practices to facilitate business initiatives
  • Lead, investigate, document and partner to resolve security issues through individual and team contributions
  • Promote, initiate and mature tactical initiatives that align with the Council on Cybersecurity’s Critical Security Controls
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or 5+ years of network (or equivalent) experience
  • Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISA, CISM, CRISC
  • Experience with implementing and supporting Anti-virus, Anti-spam, Anti-spyware, Internet Security and external security applications
  • Network security knowledge, to include firewall, network monitoring, intrusion detection, web server security, and wireless security
  • Knowledge of common vulnerabilities and exploitation techniques
  • Experience with internet technologies such as DNS, web domains, and BGP
  • Experience leading technical security initiatives focused on vulnerability, engineering, risk or threat management
  • Strong work ethic, demonstrated self-starter, ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment with excellent verbal and written and communication skills
  • Experience engaging in contracts with vendors, consultants and other third parties
  • Experience in Forensics and Cyber Attack mitigation

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A SOFTWARE ENGINEER IN TEST.

The Software Engineer in Test designs, develops, and executes test automation scripts working under the direction of the test automation team. The Software Engineer in Test also runs manual tests with the manual testing team as needed.  Works with both test automation team and product teams.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create, maintain and execute automated tests against vRad’s suite of applications
  • Execute manual test cases, report and follow-up with software issues reported; provide concise and accurate test status in a timely manner
  • Analyze, report and follow-up on test results. Provide concise and accurate test status in a timely manner
  • Develop, prioritize and execute automated software tests including regression, smoke, feature, load and stress tests, using C#, automated testing tools, and test automation frameworks
  • Develop, prioritize and execute manual and automated regression test cases/scripts on releases
  • Provide support in debugging & reproducing problems reported in production environment
  • Collaborate as part of the scrum team in grooming and estimating User Stories
  • Able to triage test automation runs, report and follow-up in a timely manner
  • Identify, record, and document software bugs in JIRA to notify software team of issues that need to be addressed
  • Ability to participate in on-call rotation as needed to support radiologists and other systems support issues
  • Other activities as directed by management

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Computer Science or 2+ years of related experience
  • 0-3 years of experience focused on Quality Assurance testing and Automation Testing
  • Experience in an Object-Oriented Development language such as C# or Java
  • Experience with ASP.Net, C#, .NET, PowerShell and SQL server is a plus
  • Experience with user interface automation tools such as Ranorex is a plus
  • Experience with automated test frameworks such as nUnit, FIT, etc. is a plus
  • Working knowledge of Software Quality Assurance Methodologies
  • Possess excellent debugging and problem-solving skills and highly analytical
  • Experience working in a collaborative environment
  • Detail oriented and well organized
  • Ability to work with technical and non-technical audience

The Staff Accountant is primarily focused on accurate recording of patient service revenue. In addition, also responsible for the timely and accurate consolidation of company-wide financial performance and processing corporate level accounting transactions and supporting the operational accounting team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Month End duties include:
  • Patient service revenue journal entries
  • Recording patient service cash
  • Intercompany transfer pricing entries
  • Various accrual entries
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assist with income statement variance analysis
  • Other journal entries, including:
    • Fixed asset additions and disposals
    • Amortization and depreciation
  • Maintain fixed asset records
  • Calculate, file and process payment for applicable state taxes
  • Execute internal controls
  • Assist with financial system testing
  • Assist with the external audit and preparation of workpapers
  • Serve as a back-up to Accounting Operations team, as needed

Qualifications/Education:

  • 4 year accounting degree, or equivalent
  • 1 year accounting experience, health care industry preferred
  • Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR AN OPERATIONS SUPERVISOR.

*This is an overnight position (9:00pm-7:00am) with rotating weekend shifts.*

An Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the functional workflow of the Operations Support Representatives (OSR) ensuring timely execution of all functional OSR responsibilities. The Operations Supervisor  is responsible for coaching, performing first level trouble-shooting, answering questions by all OSRs, and escalating issues to the appropriate resource.

The Operations Center plays a crucial role in assisting doctors and technicians when additional information is needed, or conference calls are required. To properly support these activities, a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls will require professional, courteous and effective communication. Due to the nature of this business, multi-tasking, following procedure, extreme attention to detail, relationship management and a sense of urgency are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Mentor, coach and motivate OSRs to ensure timely and accurate performance of all functional responsibilities
  • Maintain ownership of the coaching and development process for team members
  • Ensure that all team members perform with a high customer service focus; delivering excellent customer satisfaction and high client retention
  • Foster, promote and contribute to a positive team environment
  • Assist and contribute information and criteria to be used in OSR performance evaluations
  • Generate accurate and professional daily/nightly operations reports
  • Ensure that complete and accurate communications occur with customers regarding any issues including those that require escalation for resolution
  • Assists Operations Center and technical support staff with problem resolution and escalation
  • Manage the telephone quality audit and monitoring process ensuring written and verbal performance feedback to all OSRs; monitor OSRs’ call techniques and proactively addresses performance issues on a continual basis
  • Escalate issues to appropriate resource
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

  • Minimum 5 years’ work experience required
  • Previous lead or supervisory experience required
  • Previous experience in the medical or healthcare field a plus

We currently have full-time schedules available for the following shifts:

  • Full-time:
    • 9:00pm-7:00am with rotating weekend shifts
    • 8:00pm-6:00am with rotating weekend shifts
    • 7:00pm-5:00am with rotating weekend shifts

The Medical Support Specialist at vRad provides world-class customer support to our clients by monitoring and facilitating the radiology workflow process (24/7) for hospitals, clinics and radiologists.  To effectively meet this need, the Medical Support Specialist provide constant monitoring of incoming orders and images to ensure that all relevant clinical information has been submitted, complete data order entry as needed proactively and identify and/or trouble-shoot non-technical issues.

We play a crucial role in assisting doctors and technicians when additional information is needed, or conference calls are required. To properly support these activities, a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls will require professional, courteous and effective communication. Due to the nature of this business, multi-tasking, following procedure, extreme attention to detail, relationship management and a sense of urgency are required.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor incoming orders and images to ensure that all necessary clinical information has been submitted (including image count verification)
  • Perform outbound calls requesting missing images, orders, worksheets or other information requested by doctors
  • Perform data entry of faxed orders
  • Verify hospitals requesting service are covered at the time of request
  • Answer inbound calls and chat requests
  • Coordinate and complete conference calls for doctors/RNs/rad techs
  • Identify and trouble-shoot issues (i.e. mismatched studies, etc.)
  • Provide documentation of all study activity
  • Protect the security of records to follow HIPAA guidelines
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

  • High School Diploma or its equivalent – Associate Degree preferred.
  • 1+ year of customer related experience.  Experience in a contact center environment preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Professional, courteous and respectful demeanor
  • Telephone etiquette skills are essential
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
  • High level of attention to detail necessary
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and decision-making abilities
  • Proficiency in a PC environment utilizing software/programs including Windows, Internet, Instant Messaging/Virtual Chat and general e-mail tools
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently
  • Medical background a plus

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A CREDENTIALING SPECIALIST.

The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for the Primary Source Verification (PSV) of radiologist’s credentials, meeting departmental goals, maintaining radiologist files and presenting initial appointment files to Credentialing Committee and Board while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

This position is located in Eden Prairie, MN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Primary Source Verification (PSV) and maintain compliance with regulatory and accrediting bodies on all documentation of a physician’s credentials, pertaining to all training, experience and other qualifications
  • Analyze verification information to ensure file compliance with vRad Bylaws and Joint Commission standards
  • Maintain files that meet complex standards for all state medical boards and 2000+ vRad hospital requirements
  • Review reports (NPDB, AMA, FSMB, etc.) for each doctor, ensuring compliance with Joint Commission and Bylaws
  • Participate in the implementation of credentialing processes and procedures
  • Extensive and professional communication with radiologists pertaining to their file and vRad privileges
  • Prepare and present complete radiologist initial appointment files to Credentialing Committee and Board
  • Meet target date goals, provide timely and accurate database notes, consistent follow up on deficiencies and ensuring compliance and completion
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
  • 2-3 years Medical Staff Office (MSO) or Credentials Verification Organization (CVO) experience
  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) a plus
  • Experience with Health Stream’s Echo Credentialing software
  • Knowledge of Joint Commission Standards and HIPAA compliance
  • Experience with summarizing and understanding legal documents
  • Experience with presenting files at Credentials Committees and Board Meetings
  • Experience handling sensitive info and ability to maintain strict confidentiality
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized, with excellent multi-tasking skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work in a fully electronic records system with minimal paperwork
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Goal-oriented with excellent negotiation and people skills
  • Ability to make independent decisions
  • Proven ability to adapt to change
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook

The Client Support Specialist (Internal Title: Privileging Specialist) is responsible for all direct communication and ownership of the overall process of Physician credentialing appointment and reappointment to the medical staff of vRad clients.

This position is located in Eden Prairie, MN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and manage workflow for existing clients specific
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships between vRad and credentialing contacts at hospitals while managing client needs
  • Evaluate facility processes, determine opportunities for efficiencies and develop action plans
  • Proactive adjustments of rosters based on facility needs and radiologists schedule adjustments, capacity, etc.
  • Participate in the implementation of privileging processes and procedures
  • Maintain continuous communication with credentialing contacts, internal Physician Services team members, account services. radiologists and other internal clients
  • Determine targets and meet deadlines for privileges granted
  • Obtain emergent privileges when necessary following proper guidelines and processes
  • Manage electronic database notes, dates and proper documentation
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

  • 2-3 years customer facing experience
  • Experience handling sensitive information and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience setting and managing client expectations
  • Ability to work in a fully electronic records system with minimal paperwork
