WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR AN SQA ENGINEER.

The Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer  develops and executes test cases within provisioned quality assurance standards, processes and controls for a fast growing software engineering team.  Conducts inspection, testing, sampling, and training. Evaluates production capabilities and recommends improvements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Execute test cases/scripts, report and follow-up with software issues reported; provide concise and accurate test status in a timely manner
  • Ensure acceptance criteria is correct and complete for designing test cases
  • Coordinate with Product Managers and Software Engineers to develop test plan and test cases/scripts for new feature set in existing applications and for new applications as well
  • Perform black box and white box testing of internal and production system applications
  • Contribute to the development of regression test suites for Virtual Radiologic Corporation (VRC) product lines
  • Develop, prioritize and execute manual and automated regression test cases/scripts on releases
  • Provide support in debugging & reproducing problems reported in production environment
  • Provide thoughts and insight in making SQA more effective and efficient

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or experience in a related field
  • 3-5 years of Software QA experience including testing Standalone and Web applications in Windows environment
  • Working knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies and Thorough understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle
  • Experience with Client/Server, back-end and white box testing
  • Possess excellent debugging and problem solving skills and highly analytical

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A PAYER ENROLLMENT SPECIALIST.

The Payer Enrollment Specialist (PES) is responsible for merging, completing and following up on provider applications with third-party payers. Strong attention to detail, balanced with the ability to produce a high output of applications, is essential to this role.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete a variety of third-party payer applications for vRad providers, including government and commercial
  • Understand and apply state regulations/entity information to applications, which includes non-application related requests and projects
  • Maintain current status notes in database/spreadsheets and ensure timely follow up on initial enrollment, recredentialing and expirables for providers/clients
  • Establish and maintain a strong professional rapport with providers, third party payers, clients and internal staff
  • Communicate enrollment updates and/or questions to our third-party billing vendors
  • Research and work through payer enrollment issues
  • Maintain database/spreadsheets of enrollment statuses

The Client Support Specialist is responsible for all direct communications with facilities to obtain privileges for our vRad physicians. Ownership of the overall process of Physician credentialing appointment and reappointment to the medical staff of vRad clients.

Qualifications/Education:

  • 2-3 years customer facing experience
  • Experience handling sensitive information and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Experience setting and managing client expectations
  • Ability to work in a fully electronic records system with minimal paperwork
  • Detail-oriented and extremely organized
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
  • Creative thinking and analytical problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of Joint Commission and HIPAA compliance a plus

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and manage workflow and credentialing process for existing clients specific to their unique needs to obtain privileges per their bylaws and compliance requirements
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships between vRad and credentialing contacts at hospitals while managing client needs
  • Evaluate facility processes, determine opportunities for efficiencies and develop action plans
  • Participate in the implementation of privileging processes and procedures
  • Sell, promote and advocate vRad’s credentialing services (Credentialing Agreements, vRad Portal, Electronic Signatures, etc.)
  • Maintain continuous communication with credentialing contacts, internal Physician Services team members, account services. radiologists and other internal clients
  • Determine targets and meet deadlines for privileges granted

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A RECRUITER.

The Recruiter will focus on sourcing, screening and hiring radiologists to meet the specialty and scheduling requirements as determined by operations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Detailed review, consideration and response of all CVs submitted to vRad; require “best effort” for next business day response to all inquiries
  • Find, interview and hire radiologists meeting requirements specified by operations (specialty, location, licensing, start date)
  • Source radiologist candidates through onsite advertisement sites, purchased lists, win back campaigns, trade shows, cold calling, resident/fellowship programs, etc.
  • Conduct pre-screen interviews and work with vRad radiologists to decide next steps for candidate
  • Conduct executive interviews and explain the entire workflow process, compensation and determine appropriate fit of candidates
  • Stay current on industry trends regarding vacation time, compensation and other negotiated terms in contracts
  • Coordinate, setup and conduct residency outreaches within territory
  • Prepare and oversee arrangement of on-site visit
  • Follow up with physician candidates on a regular basis throughout the engagement process until offer is accepted and contract is negotiated; will participate in contract negotiations along with on-site corporate counsel
  • Coordinate, manage and advise on placement of ads, hiring process, offer packages, compensation and on-site visits to facilitate the hiring process of radiologists
  • Attend tradeshows as required (typically 1-4 a year)
  • May participate in training of new staff, presentations to other departments or other presentations as required
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

  • Four plus years of solid executive level recruitment or sales experience
  • 4 year degree preferred
  • Strong project management analytical skills; must be extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proven track record to negotiate, persuade and close a candidate quickly
  • Ability to effectively handle high level escalations and time critical issues; meets goals despite unexpected setbacks, obstacles, or time constraints
  • Superior written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to build relationships over the phone and have the ability to drill down to the next levels

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A BUSINESS ANALYST.

The Business Analyst/Coverage Planning Analyst is responsible for the maintenance, reporting, and assessment of coverage at the facility level.  The Business Analyst will collaborate closely with Physician Scheduling and Sales to ensure each department’s needs are represented when adjusting a facility’s roster.  In addition, they will be responsible for balancing physician credentials across practice needs, proactively preventing coverage gaps from schedule adjustments, communicating to teams within vRad regarding potential gaps or increased turn-around-times, and creating privileging and licensing plans for new, onboarding physicians.  The Business Analyst will work closely with the Director of Operations on process evaluation and department activity reporting.

Qualifications/Education:

  • Associate’s Degree or 4+ years of comparable business experience
  • Discretion with proprietary and confidential information
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in an analytics or problem-solving role
  • Able to communicate effectively and calmly in high-stress situations
  • Positive attitude with high aptitude for creative problem solving
  • Capable of working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task
  • Must be extremely detail oriented with strong organizational skills

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain reporting on analytics related to department activity levels
  • Assist in the implementation of new tools and processes to increase department productivity and effectiveness
  • Create adequate coverage plans to meet client expectations
  • Communicate across departments regarding temporary lapses in privileges which could cause gaps or increase turn-around-times for clients
  • Evaluate withdraw requests from Privileging and determine if there is a need to supplement additional physicians
  • Evaluate licenses and privileges for terming physicians
  • Establish full licensing and privileging plans for new, onboarding physicians based upon projected sales, current coverage needs, and subspecialty training and site requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Physician Licensing/Credentialing Teams for any mid-to-long term schedule adjustment requests and potential impact to planned physician capacity and facility coverage against operational needs
  • Manage the onboarding of new physicians by coordinating schedules, state licensure and facility credentials against sub-specialist availability and physician workflow expectations for Empty Time, Idle Time and periods of high volume

The Credentialing Coordinator provides administrative and database support for the Credentialing Specialists.  Organizes, coordinates and ensures up-to-date processing of confidential information while maintaining a high level of integrity and confidentiality.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Populate vRad systems (Echo) with new rad information off of original CV for onboarding physicians to initiate automated processes
  • Communicate with radiologists to fulfill their requests for health form status compliance
  • Assist the Credentialing Specialist with obtaining primary source verifications (PSV)
  • Prepare and present radiologist’s reappointment files to Credentialing Committee and Board in compliance with physician services reappointment processes
  • Execute reports as necessary out of the system
  • Administrative duties as requested by team members and leadership

  • 1-2 years of administrative or related experience

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A TECHNICAL PROJECT MANAGER.

The Project Manager will be responsible for managing one or more projects through the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) or Systems Implementation Lifecycle.   This includes working with business analyst for project requirements, establishing a project plan, coordinating product team activities, conducting internal Project Reviews, and taking Project Manager action on schedule, scope, and or budget to achieve project success.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Serve as Project Manager for one or more information technology projects
  • Develop project plans including schedules, scope, risks, and cost and effort estimates
  • Integrate Project Plans from multiple projects to ensure coordination of key tasks, appropriate sequencing, and identify resource constraints
  • Work with Chief Information Officer to assemble Project Plans into our overall Technology Master Plan
  • Lead Project Team meetings, team-wide communication, and status determination
  • Work collaboratively with various Technology Resource Managers for resource assignments, issue resolution, task completion, and other aspects of Project Management in a matrix organization
  • Present and review Project Scope, Schedule, and Budget Status with the Technology management team
  • Work with product and/or business owners to define project scope and requirements
  • Manage external vendor relationships as related to Project Scope
  • Assist as needed with development of SDLC work products such as Functional Specifications, Design Documents, Test Plans, Agile Boards, User Stories and Acceptance criteria
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
  • 5+ years of related information technology experience
  • Experience managing software development projects using a SDLC methodology
  • Experience in managing commercial software package deployments
  • Strong MS Office, VISIO, MS Project, Confluence and Jira skills
  • Experience, prior to becoming a Project Manager, as a software developer, infrastructure engineer, or other member of a technology project team
  • Interpersonal skills in influencing others, gaining consensus, and resolving technical issues

WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A MANAGER OF OPERATIONS CENTER.

The Manager of Operations Center (OC) will oversee the daily operations and all facets within the Operations Center while providing planning and strategic direction to the Operations Center team.

The Manager of Operations Center supports a 24×7 team and requires flexibility to work evenings/overnights and occasional weekends. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the daily operations of the Operations Center and ensure appropriate staffing capacity, departmental/company profitability, turn-around time (TAT)/contractual compliance and adherence to budgetary goals
  • Establish and monitor performance objectives/metrics and define tools to measure progress and ensure consistent achievement of departmental/business objectives
  • Motivate, provide coaching and development of team members to ensure the highest degree of customer service to maximize our quality of service and customer retention; foster, promote and contribute to a positive team environment; directly manage Operations Support Supervisors
  • Lead all departmental process improvement initiatives by identifying system and new workflow efficiencies; prioritize, recommend and support the implementation of programs to improve call center processes as well as work in collaboration with other departments of the organization
  • Recommend changes in technology and procedures that improve service quality, workflow enhancements and increased profitability
  • Prepare annual performance reviews for all direct reports, including detailed objectives for each new fiscal year
  • Create workforce management forecasts/staffing analysis, scheduling, budgets and planning
  • Compile and monitor daily/weekly/monthly operational statistics and reports; analyze trends, variances and problem situations; provide accurate reporting on results, including production statistics, actual result to goal, forecasting projections and technical issues
  • Main point of contact representing the OC for any internal and external customers
  • Understand and uphold the on-call escalation procedure for 24×7 call center operations; assume the lead point of contact role in establishing communication, initiating escalation and decision making within the operations center
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of coursework and work related experience
  • 3-5 years of management experience in a high volume call center or similar work experience; strong knowledge of general customer support operations; health care experience preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Effective problem solving abilities
  • Excellent analytical skills and proven leadership skills
  • Discretion with confidential information
  • Capable of working in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment and have the ability to multitask on a regular basis
  • Extremely project oriented with strong organizational skills

The Software Engineer  will aid in the design, development, testing and supporting of software applications both web and windows based and designing and developing relational databases.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Develop software within a team environment supporting a rapidly growing information technology intensive business
  • Review, analyze, and evaluate business and user needs and translate into software systems specifications
  • Participate in estimating, planning, and scheduling software development tasks
  • Participate in the design of software systems, user interfaces, web services, processing algorithms, communications methods, and other major components
  • Develop software in C#, HTML, JavaScript, and SQL using standard coding practices
  • Perform unit, integration, and system level software testing

Qualifications/Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 1-8 years of directly related experience
  • Experience developing software using Agile methodologies preferred
  • Experience with C# highly preferred (C++ or Java are acceptable)
  • Experience with HTML and JavaScript preferred
  • Experience with WinForms and WCF preferred
  • Experience with WebAPI and MVC preferred (Other MVVM architectures are acceptable)
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL preferred (Oracle or other relational databases are acceptable)
  • Experience with NUnit testing framework preferred (Other frameworks are acceptable)
  • Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio preferred
  • Experience with software and database architectural techniques and high-level design using UML or similar representational modeling and design techniques
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and able to work on a team on independently defined tasks
  • Demonstrated experience in full lifecycle development or major enhancement of object oriented software applications using relational databases
  • Experience with highly available production software applications preferred

We are currently looking for an Operations Support Representative.


The Operations Center at vRad provides world-class customer support to our clients by monitoring and facilitating the radiology workflow process (24/7) for hospitals, clinics and radiologists.  To effectively meet this need, the Operations Support Representatives provide constant monitoring of incoming orders and images to ensure that all relevant clinical information has been submitted, complete data order entry as needed proactively and identify and/or trouble-shoot non-technical issues.

We play a crucial role in assisting doctors and technicians when additional information is needed or conference calls are required. To properly support these activities, a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls will require professional, courteous and effective communication. Due to the nature of this business, multi-tasking, following procedure, extreme attention to detail, relationship management and a sense of urgency are required.

This is full-time, overnight position with rotating weekend shifts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Monitor incoming orders and images to ensure that all necessary clinical information has been submitted (including image count verification)
  • Perform outbound calls requesting missing images, orders, worksheets or other information requested by doctors
  • Perform data entry of faxed orders
  • Verify hospitals requesting service are covered at the time of request
  • Answer inbound calls
  • Coordinate conference calls for doctors/RNs/rad techs
  • Identify and trouble-shoot issues (i.e. mismatched studies, etc.)
  • Provide documentation of all study activity
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

  • No education required
  • Two or more years of customer related experience in a contact center environment preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Strong sense of urgency and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to work in a team environment as well as work independently
  • Telephone etiquette skills are essential
  • Medical background a plus
  • Professional, courteous and respectful demeanor
  • High level of attention to detail necessary
  • Strong organizational and prioritization abilities
  • Demonstrates sound judgment and decision making abilities
