Star Tribune Names vRad to its 2020 “Top 150 Workplaces” in Minnesota
vRad Makes the List for Fourth Consecutive Year

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn., July 1, 2020 – vRad (Virtual Radiologic), a MEDNAX Radiology Solutions practice and the nation’s leading teleradiology services and telemedicine company, announced that it was named one of the “Top Workplaces” in Minnesota by the Star Tribune. This is the fourth consecutive year vRad made the “Top Workplaces” list.

“Top Workplaces” recognizes the most progressive companies in Minnesota based on employee opinions measuring engagement, organizational health, and satisfaction. The rankings in the Star Tribune “Top 150 Workplaces” are based on survey responses from more than 140,000 employees at Minnesota public, private, and nonprofit organizations. According to the survey, vRad employees believe that: 1) New ideas are encouraged at vRad, 2) Senior managers “really understand what is happening at vRad,” and 3) vRad is committed to keeping team members informed.

“We are thrilled to announce that vRad was named a Star Tribune Top Workplace for the FOURTH year in a row,” said Gerry Fitterer, Chief Financial & Chief Operating Officer. “This year, vRad ranked #28 among the top 50 mid-size employers in the Twin Cities. This is an outstanding achievement that reflects our dedicated and passionate team members. In voting vRad a Top Workplace, team members noted that they especially value vRad’s commitment to encouraging new ideas and keeping team members informed, as well as the sense that vRad’s leadership team maintains a good feel for what is happening across vRad. vRad leadership will continue doing our best to keep these practices at the heart of vRad’s culture, especially as we return to full staffing levels and prepare for a new future outside MEDNAX.”
