Summary:

The Privileging Coordinator provides behind the scenes assistance to the Physician Services Team in relation to administrative and database support. Ensures timely submission of documents to partnered Privileging Specialist and client, in addition to taking on projects to help streamline the workflow as assigned.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with Portal requests – setting up profile and troubleshooting
• Assist Privileging Specialist/Analyst with document requests – send to client upon request
• Basic understanding of systems (MRPa, Echo, Portal)
• Pulling and providing Reports to clients (QA Data, MRPa Reports, Echo Reports, etc)
• Submit requests to obtain Privileges to hospitals
• Distribute department specific emails and faxes from shared accounts daily
• Upload documentation to system for previously activated and renewed privileges
• Ensure documentation is submitted to hospitals in a timely manner
• Other duties and projects as assigned

Qualifications/Education:

• Minimum of one (1) year office environment experience with proven ability to multi-task
• Strong communication skills – telephone, email and correspondence
• Professional, courteous and respectful demeanor
• Ability to work independently under minimal supervision
• Proficient in MS Office; Adobe professional a plus
