Summary:

The Staff Accountant will administer day-to-day radiologist compensation. This role also responsible for operational and corporate accounting duties across the organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Radiologist Compensation

• Administer radiologist compensation calculations and disbursements across all vRad entities.
• Collaborate with Physician Relations and Legal teams to ensure compliance with current compensation arrangements.
• Assist in the design, testing, and ongoing enhancement of internal software tools used for radiologist compensation and reporting.
• Oversee the 1099 preparation and filing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Operational Accounting

• Prepare payroll and benefit-related entries.
• Prepare credit card and expense reimbursement entries.
• Record ad hoc bank transactions as required.
• Serve as a backup for other team members as needed.

General Accounting

• Prepare internally developed software entries and collaborate with technology teams.
• Adhere to month end, quarter end and year end close calendar.
• Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
• Compile external audit requests.
• Prepare and update departmental procedure documents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications/Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and one year related work experience.
• Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Workday ERP experience is beneficial but not required.
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Job Classification:

Sedentary– Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.  A sedentary job involves sitting most of the time.

The hourly rate for this position is $30.00-$31.00. The range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
