Dr. Thomas F. Osborne was born in Rochester, New York, and began the journey toward his career in radiology in 1991 at the University of California, Santa Barbara.
Dr. Osborne earned his medical degree from the Darmouth Medical School in Lebanon, New Hampshire; completed his internship at St. Mary Medical Center in Long Beach, California; completed his residency at the Mount Auburn Hospital in Cambridge, Massachusetts; and completed his Neuroradiology fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts.
After his fellowship, Dr. Osborne briefly worked in private practice before joining vRad in 2009.
Today, Dr. Osborne, is vRad’s Director of Medical Informatics, Director of Clinical Research at MEDNAX and a Fellowship trained Neuroradiologist. In 2015, he was named Diagnostic Imaging’s Top Radiologist to Watch for his efforts to manage the rapid evolution of technology in medicine. His drive to elevate technology that improves the way radiologists work makes him an invaluable asset to the vRad medical leadership team.
